SAS Golfers Tee Up Triumph in Sanya
Trading chilly É«ÇéAPPµ¼º½ skies for sunny Sanya fairways, the É«ÇéAPPµ¼º½ golf team—comprised of talented middle and high school athletes from both Pudong and Puxi—flew south to compete in the highly anticipated 2025 ACAMIS Invitational Golf Tournament. Held at the Yalong Bay Golf Club, one of the top 10 courses in China, the event brought together 130 skilled golfers representing 17 international schools from across the country.
Over two days on the course, our Eagles showcased exceptional talent, perseverance, and teamwork, resulting in impressive finishes for both campuses. The Puxi and Pudong teams clinched second and third place overall, with outstanding individual performances highlighting the team's depth.
Among the younger standouts, sixth-grader Alex C. claimed victory in the 9-11 age group, while eighth-grader Jayden Z. secured a third-place finish in the 12-14 age division. Meanwhile, in the highly competitive 15–18 age group, Darren C. ‘27, Hailin W. ‘26, and Brandon L. ‘26 demonstrated dominance by sweeping the top three spots. Equally impressive were our girl golfers, who took an incredible six of the top ten positions in the 15-18 age division.
With a promising blend of youth, talent, and determination, the future looks bright for our Eagles. There's no doubt this team will continue swinging their way to success in upcoming tournaments!
